Women’s Rides
On alternate Saturday mornings throughout the year, our Women’s Rides offer a fun and supportive way for you to ride without the anxieties and pressures that some women experience at the thought of riding on male dominated club ride. We’ll help you progress your ability in a fun and supported environment. You can choose to stay with the Women Only Rides, or use it as a stepping stone up to the Sunday Club Rides.

You do not have to be a club member to join us initially…come along for a few rides to see if you like it first!
Rides Format
The VC Venta Women’s Rides are social rides and nobody will be left behind, riding at at the pace of the slowest rider. We meet at the Winchester Hotel & Spa car park, on Worthy Lane, Winchester SO23 7AB and follow a route selected by the nominated ride leader.
Route distances average 30 to 35 miles, with an average speed of around 12 mph to 13 mph. Rides meet at 8.55 am ready for a 9 am start at Winchester Hotel & Spa.
There will be a cafe stop for coffee and cake either part way round the route or at the finish of the ride.
