Join VC Venta
Your VC Venta annual membership costs £25 per adult, with a discount available for couples living at the same address. Junior membership (under 16 years) and Students (anyone aged 16+ in full-time education) are free of charge – but please note you must still complete a membership application.
If you are applying as a family, please complete a form for each membership type. For example, for two parents and two children under 16 years, complete an application for a couple plus two junior members.
Membership for individuals and couples is an annual rolling membership from the date that you join the club and a renewal notice will be sent by email 14 days before it is due to expire.
Junior membership will expire on 31st August in the year that the junior member turns 16 years old.
Student membership will initially expire on 31st August in the year that the student member turns 18 years old but will be extended if the member is going on to higher education up until the expiry of any higher education course.
Senior Membership
Adult member aged 18 years or over no longer in full time education

Student Membership
Students aged 16 years+ in higher education (sixth form or university equivalent).

Expectations of Members
VC Venta is run by Club members on a voluntary basis and the more people that are involved, the lighter the load.
With the exception of members under 18 years, you’ll be expected to “do your bit”, helping out with the various events we run during the year or volunteering on the Club committee. This might be marshalling at a race or time trial, leading Club Rides, coaching or helping organise a social event.
Whether you’re new to the Club or have been a member for years, you will be required to help and training will be provided, as required.
Membership Benefit
Your annual membership fee goes towards promoting cycling in Winchester and running the coaching, training, rides, races and events throughout the year. Importantly, this include the junior’s Go-Ride programme which has been particularly successful in recent years.
The club now has over 180 junior members and we are continuing to expand the youth rides and coaching.
Couples living at the same address can take advantage of our discounted membership, for just £40 for the year.
