VC Venta Go-Ride - Important Updates for 2025

We're delighted to announce our Go-Ride coaching programme will be moving to a new venue at IBM Hursley for 2025! This is an excellent location for cycling activities offering lots of space and a safe environment for our young riders. We're incredibly grateful to IBM for supporting us with this move, and very excited to get started at the new venue.

Additionally:

• Sessions will run from 3pm to 4pm (earlier than before). This earlier time allows us access to toilet facilities at the onsite Hursley Sports and Social Club 
  
  
• Due to coach availability, we can only run three groups for the spring series.
  
  
• To ensure we remain welcome guests at IBM Hursley and are able to continue using the site for Go-Ride coaching, you will be required to accept both IBM Hursley Access Terms and our Go-Ride Declaration when making a booking.

Finally...We Need Your Help!

We rely on volunteers to run Go-Ride. In its simplest form, this can just be parents and guardians lending a hand to help sessions run smoothly. However, we also need qualified coaches to run the sessions, and due to a few people who have generously given their time over a number of years recently having stepped away, we are short on numbers. 

We need more coaches to be able to continue running Go-Ride. Ideal candidates will be keen cyclists, but you don't need to have raced or have ridden regularly with a club; a passion and energy for passing on the love of cycling is far more important.

The club covers all course costs, and the newly launched British Cycling coaching framework makes it easier to get started with most training being online.
