Time Trial Race Team

VC Venta promotes a friendly and active time-trial scene, with riders of all levels taking part over the season. 

At the more competitive end of the spectrum, we have riders competing around the country. In 2018, our men’s Team Time Trial squad placed 5th at the National Championships in Newcastle and in 2022 Nick Tarmey won the National 24 hour time trial title clocking up a remarkable 516.56 miles in 24 hours.

Time trialling is the perfect way to get into cycle racing, no matter what level of fitness you have.

Summer 2024 Time Trials

Once again we will be promoting an open events in 2024 with a ten mile time trial in May and a friendly inter-club time trial against Sotonia CC later the same month. 

Our first open event will be on Saturday 11th May 2024 using the HCC283 Candover course. Entry will be via the CTT website following the link below

VC Venta "Watercress" Time Trial

The inter-club time trial will take place on Tuesday 21st May 2024 using the P164 course at Lyndhurst. This is always an evening of friendly rivalry where participation is the main motivator whether road bike or TT bike, all ages welcome over ten years old either solo or ride as a two up.
