Race as a Team!

Would you like to enter a race knowing that there will be other Venta members there to ride alongside? 

In 2022 to try to encourage riders to dust off their bikes we introduced a cashback incentive at certain events to promote entry and to encourage riders to race as a team alongside their VC Venta club mates.  

Race as a team events will continue again in 2026 at some carefully selected events with opportunities to compete alongside club mates on gravel, cyclocross, MTB, and circuit or masters racing with the club offering a 50% cash back incentive on your entry fee for these events. Events identified where members are encouraged to "Race (or ride) As A Team" are listed below with Masters, Gravel and CX to follow later in the year.

Circuit Race - Bikeshed Racing at Thruxton Circuit on Tuesday 7th April. Open 2nd/3rd category and open 4th category races as well as an E/1/2/3/4 womens race. Enter here, Bikeshed Racing Round 1 at Thruxton Circuit

Road Race - VC Venta Spring Road Race on Sunday 19th April. A 3rd/4th category road race with a team of up to six riders. Enter here, Velo Club Venta Spring Road Race
